To be known as 'NAFDAC Green Pages', the compilation would be made into CD-ROM, website and book format. The project is expected to serve as a guide to all major importers and exporters of food and drug products, medical personnel, advertising agencies and other stakeholders in the nation. NAFDAC's Director General, Dr. Dora Akunyili, speaking during the launching of the project, said that the Green Pages will also serve as a guide to all who plead ignorance for importing, exporting or transacting in fake drugs and adulterated food products. "Apart from that," said Akunyili, "The Green Pages, which is expected to be in every household, medical centre, public places and other similar places, would also serve as easy reference to all as statutorily required of NAFDAC by its establishing decree." Akunyili also said that the Green Pages project would contain the list of all food and drug products that has been registered in the history of NAFDAC.
