Bank Directors Appoint Chairman Lagos Bank Directors' Association of Nigeria (BDAN) has appointed Mrs. Morenikeji Onasanya, chairman, Prudent Bank Plc, as a governing council member of the associationn for the period of two years. Election to the BDAN Governing Council which was held during the association's Annual General Meeting (AGM) recently in Abuja, was announced in a letter signed by the President, Alhaji Aliyu Salman. The letter read in part, "as a follow-up to that election, it is my pleasure to inform you that you have been nominated to serve on the council for a period of two years." Her election was based on her track record as well as life time achievement. Onasanya, a Chartered Accountant, as well as a Fellow and Council member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICAN). She attended the Waltham Forest Technical College, Walthamston London and attended several management development programme, locally and internationally.
