Non-Indigenes Commend Mu'azu, Emir Bauchi From Segun Awofadeji in Bauchi A forum of non-indigenes residing in Bauchi State have commended Gover-nor Ahmadu Adamu Mu'azu and the Emir of Bauchi on the roles they have been playing in the maintenance of peace, harmony and unity among the various communities across the state. Leaders of the communities who made it known yesterday in Bauchi while fielding questions from newsmen also applauded the state government for placing a high premium on the security and welfare of people in the state since the inception of the current democratic dispensation. The community leaders include Chief Peter Ameh, Chief of Idoma indigenes; Igwe Jude Emezika, Eze Igbo I of Bauchi; and Chief Samaila Obaje, the Onu of Igala as well as Alhaji Usman Aliyu Okene, Chief of Ebira community and the Chief of Angas in Bauchi, Chief Sylvester Nduti. The leaders described Bauchi as the most peaceful and hospitable state in the country and the safest place for would be investors who wish to invest in the North East sub-region. Speaking on behalf of the communities during a courtesy visit earlier paid to the General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Bauchi, Alhaji Bala Hassan, in his office, the leader of the delegation, Chief Ameh, said that they were in his office in continuation of their familiarisation tour to media houses in the state.
