Kogi Dep/Gov Scores Adminstration High From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Niger State Deputy, Governor Mr. Philip Salawu has called on the people of the state to support Governor Ibrahim Idris's crusade for good governace and the sustenance of democracy in the State. Salawu also enjoined democrates and advocates of good governance to support and sncourage Governor Idris, adding that unless right-thinking members of the society stood up and supported him, anything short of that would amount to nought. In his words "support Idris to save Kogi State from its underdeveloped status." The deputy governor, who canvassed continous understading for the present adminstration hinted that the government has paid salaries and allowances of workers up-to-date and rehabilitated roads, while also plugging the loopholes through which the state's fund was being siphoned. He assured that the present adminstration is poised to making life more meaningful for the people of the state.
