Falcons Fall to Germany The Super Falcons lost 3-1 to world champions Germany in a warm-up tie ahead of next month's Olympic Games in Athens. The test match was played Saturday in the German city of Frankfurt in front of over 5,000 spectators with midfielder Ajumah Ameh scoring Nigeria's only goal four minutes from the end. Host Germany led 2-0 by half time after goals by Petra Wimbersky in the seventh minute and Birgit Prinz on 27 minutes. And they made the game safe in the 89th minute with a third goal by Steffi Jones. Nigeria are drawn against Japan and Sweden in a first round group at the Athens Olympics. It will be the Nigeria's second appearance at the Olympic women's soccer tournament as they also featured at the Sydney Olympics four years ago.
