Women Police: Facts the IG must note I want to appeal to the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Tafa Balogun, to call women Police to order so that they will not continue to tarnish the image of the Police Force. It is not uncommon to see these police women stand on the roadside for hours on end, soliciting free ride from okada operators and commercial vehicle drivers. Sometimes, should these ones fail to stop, they would take note of their numbers and arrest them in future at the slightest or no provocation at all. From my interaction with them, at least about 40 per cent of Police women can neither read nor write, making one to wonder what kind of Police Force Nigeria is raising.  Many more are accused of engaging in prostitution, a phenomenon that has rubbished the achievements and good image of the hard working ones among their gender.
