DG Laments Dearth of Law Teachers From Yinka Kolawole in Makurdi Director-General of Council of Legal Education of Nigeria, Chief Kayode Jegede (SAN) yesterday in Makurdi, canvassed for more teachers in law faculties across the country's universities. The director-general who spoke with journalists after a re-accreditation visit of the council to the Benue State University also noted that "Nigeria need more competent lecturers to produce best trained lawyers." He lamented that the poor situation in which under graduates were-being trained in most of the law faculties. He stressed that the nation needs more professors, readers and senior lecturers in most of these universities so that they can be accredited.
