| Tribunal: Only PDP signed election result of Umueze Anam Ward I, says witness |

Awka—Justice G.M. Nabaruma of the first Anambra State Election Petition Tribunal was told Wednesday that only the PDP signed the result sheets (AC1(i) - AC1(vii)) from Umueze Anam Ward I in Anambra West Local Government because other political parties that contested the election refused to sign because they lost the election. A witness, Mr Paul Nwanegbo Okeke, a member of Alliance for Democracy (AD) testified for Governor Chris Ngige in the petition lodged against him by the APGA governorship candidate in the April 19, 2003 governorship election in Anambra State. Okeke, the 116th Witness for Ngige was led in evidence by Mr Emeka Ngige (SAN). His testimony runs this:
Ngige: Can you tell the tribunal your Name?
Okeke: My names are Paul Nwanegbo Okeke.
Ngige: Where do you live?
Okeke: I reside at Nwanegbo Okeke’s compounded in Umueze Anam, Anambra West Local Government Area.
Ngige: Ward what?
Okeke: Umueze Anam

Ngige: What is your occupation?
Okeke: I am a trader, also a politician.
Ngige: Which party do you belong to?
Okeke: I belong to AD (Alliance for Democracy).
Ngige: Election was held on 19/4/03 into the office of president and governor, am I right?
Okeke: yes.
Ngige: Did you play any role in that election?
Okeke: Yes.
Ngige: Can you tell the tribunal the type of role you played?
