Crash: Two bodies sighted, helicopter parts retrieved

Fresh facts have emerged on the helicopter that crashed in the early hours of Monday.
A top official of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) who spoke with Daily Sun said that the search and rescue team earlier dispatched to look in to the crash has sighted two other bodies apart from the wounded oil company worker.

However, the team could not retrieve the two bodies because of the heavy tide on the ocean which is about 4,000 feet deep."
According to the source, the main door of the helicopter owned by Pan-African Airline and marked Bell-412 was also recovered. Other items retrieved are the emergency door and two inflated raft; and all the wreckage, the source, said, have been put into a shop.

The name of the pilot of the helicopter was given as Capt. Davies Helix, an American and Capt Bas Ojeme who is a Nigerian. The crash occurred about 10 minutes after take off from Sedco Energy which is an oil servicing company that owns an Air strip:

The helicopter was not heading for Port-Harcourt straight as they wanted to refuel at Ofinima. So it was 10 minutes after take off after leaving refueling point that they lost contact with the control tower and eventually crashed.
According to him, six boats, five helicopters and hundred divers are all involved in the search and rescue operations.
