NUJ Backs NLC Action Gombe From Saka Ibrahim in Gombe Gombe State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has lent its weight behind the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on the nationwide strike. The NUJ after an emergency meeting resolved to back the NLC being a trade/professional Union and an affiliate of the Congress. A statement signed by its chairman Mallam Abubakar Adamu and Secretary, Mackay Limbo urged journalists in the state to ensure a strict compliance with the directives of NLC to sustain the strike.
