Nigerians Are Not Investing Here - Dangote Business magnate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote yesterday expressed regrets that not many Nigerians are investing in the domestic economy, arguing that everything should not be left for the government alone. Dangote who spoke with airport correspondents at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos said the government has been doing a lot to promote investment. He, however, said problems such as insecurity of lives and property have been militating against the realisation of government goals. According to him, in Brazil, cars could be parked by the roadside without any fear of theft or vandalisation. He however regretted that not many Nigerians have been investing locally. "...But it is a wrong thing that Nigerians are not investing. If they are, people will come and when there is some form of security, people will come. Government will do its best, but we should do something ourselves. "A lot of companies are not doing what is right. We don't just leave everything for the government to do.
