NASFAT Commends Saraki, Deputy Kwara From Tunde Sanni in Ilorin The Basirl-il-Lali-Li Fathi (NASFAT) Ilorin branch has commended the cordial relationship between Governor Bukola Saraki of Kwara State and his Deputy, Chief Joel Ogundeji. NASFAT on a courtesy call to Saraki at the Government House observed the relative peace and progress in the last one year within the state and charged the governor to sustain the tempo. Led by its branch chairman, Prince Sulaiman Ayodele Fagbemi, the religious body said achievements of the Saraki administration was made possible by the doggedness of the governor who sees the whole state as his constituency. Though a religious group, NASFAT tasked the governor to ensure fair and equitable sharing of government favours and patronages. The delegation commended the governor for the appointment of its members into political positions and assured that the society shall be reliable partners for progress of the administration. Fagbemi promised that the society was ready to contribute meaningfully to the growth and progress of the state materially and spiritually. Welcoming the NASFAT team, Saraki lauded them for their moral and spiritual support for his administration in the last one year. He called on various religious groups in the state to live harmoniously with themselves and eschew all forms of rancour. Saraki ascribed his modest achievement to the cooperation of the people of the state and assured them that he shall sustain the tempo.
