2007: PDP Board Member Flays Campaigners A member of Board of Trus-tees of People Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Bode Olajumoke yesterday dec-lared that, members of the party who are eyeing political offices in year 2007 have no moral rights to be campaigning around the country for now. Answering reporters questions at Iree in Osun state shortly after paying a condolence visit to the family of former minister of Internal Affairs, Late Chief Sunday Afolabi, Olajumoke also said "it was a shame on the part of the government that, Nigeria as sixth largest oil producing nation in the world could still suffer from dire need of refined products. According to him, "it is too early in the day to start talking about who becomes what in 2007 because we just came out of an election and made a lot of promises to the teeming masses who gave us their votes." He said "we promised to give them certain things in terms of social amenities and our concern now should be all to fulfill these social services before we start asking for votes again."
