YCE Honours Daniel Yoruba Council of Elders (YCE) will on Saturday, June 19,bestow an award of Excellence on Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, in appreciation of his outstanding performance in the past one year. In a letter to the governor signed by its President, Pa Emmanuel Alayande and Acting Secretary-General, Dr Kunle Olajide, the YCE said it has decided to present the award to acknowledge his contributions to the socio-economic development of his community. Specifically, the Council acknowledged Daniel's administration in youth empowerments scheme, farm settlement programme, road construction and maintenance. At the ceremony billed to hold at the Banquet Hall of the Premier Hotel, Ibadan, according to the release signed by Special Assistant to Daniel on Public Communications, Adegbenro Adebayo, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, former Lagos State governor will deliver a keynote address.
