'Trade Bank Capitalisation to Boost Business' Kogi From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Government of Kogi State has said that the recapitalisation efforts of Trade Bank Nigeria Plc to boost businesses around the owner states and Nigeria would be pursued vigorously. Speaking at the recapitalisation forum held at Confluence Beach, Lokoja, the state capital, Kogi Deputy Governor, Mr Philip Salawu, who represented the governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, noted that the government has to take the business of the bank seriously. He explained that by the time the efforts at boosting the bank's strength is on, the government would take substantial share in the new recapitalisation efforts. Earlier in his remarks, Managing Director of the bank Mr Samuel Erinola Kolawole noted that the proposed additional 10 branches being planned for the bank would be achieved before end of the year, but opined that with the efforts of the recapitalisation more working capital would be generated. He, however, urged the intending investors in the two owner states not to entertain fear adding that all investors would be taken care off. Mr Kolawole stressed that in the expansion efforts of the bank the Management and Board will not disappoint willing investors.
