Airport Manager Commends Lucky Fibres
Lagos

The Airport Manager of Murtala Muhammed International Airport Engr. Obi Anadu, has commended the management of Lucky Fibres for donating rugs worth about N1m for the renovation of some parts of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.

Engr. Anadu made this comendation in Lagos during an inspection tour of the renovated wing of the International Airport. According to Anadu, the initiative is worth emulating, as Lucky Fibres has demonstrated that the development of public places in Nigeria should not be abandoned for the government. He stressed that Nigerians should change their perception towards public utilities, as government alone cannot do everything.

He noted that one of the reasons why monumental and important structures in this country collapse without any serious attention is because Nigerians see this as the responsibility of the government to take care of everything. He reiterated that the government alone cannot bear the burden but solicited the assistance of both the private and other corporate organisations in the country.

Furthermore, he emphasised that Lucky Fibres' response to the renovation of the airport is indicates the company as being a responsive corporate organisation. While thanking the management of the company, he charged other organisations to borrow a leaf from their gesture.

"Let me use the oportunity to thank Lucky Fibres for this wonderful gesture. the company has today shown that the development of this great nation is not individualistic or the sole efforts of the government. But Nigerians should see it is a collective effort towards developing an enviable nation that will rank among the developed countries the world. thenation belong to all of us. We must therefore see to the development in all ramifications," said Engr Anadu.
