Governor's Wife to Reposition Women Kogi From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja First Lady, Hajia Zainab Ibrahim Idris has said in Lokoja that her pet Family Advancement Programe would be pursued vigorously in order to reposition the women folk. Speaking with THISDAY in her office on the way forward on women development, the First Lady said: "I want to use the Family Advancement Programme (FAP) to alleviate and reduce poverty in every family in the state." She noted that family empowerment programmes would be seriously handled with her NGO in order to reach out to the people down to the remotest communities in the state. Hajia Idris stressed that she decided to move into some key areas of lives of the people at the rural areas to boost their productivity level. She emphasised that with the women grouped into cooperative societies it will enable them to benefit from soft loan schemes of the government. Meanwhile, in order to boost productivity level of the women, Hajiya Idris had recently facilitated the ECOWAS artisanal fish fund through the NACRDB for some fishermen.
