House Member Hinges Religious Co-existence on Tinubu's Leadership Style The peaceful co-existence of the adherents of the various religions in Lagos state has been hinged on the leadership style of the State Governor, Bola Tinubu and the ability of his administration to meet the expectations of the people. Speaking while presenting bursary awards to indigent students in Ikorodu federal constituency, Hon. Abike Dabiri, who is also the chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Media and Publicity said despite the huge population of Lagos and its cosmopolitan nature, the state under the present Alliance for Democracy (AD) government has been enjoying religious harmony. While advising other state governors to learn from the development in Lagos and apply such to their respective states, the lawmaker urged the people of her constituency to continue to support the AD government in the state. She also advised the people of her constituency not to engage in any activity that may threaten the peace of the state inspite of provocation by those moving around to cause disaffection among the people of the state. Also at the event, the State Commisioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Lanre Balogun commeded the lawmaker for coming to the aid of the indigent students and urged others to emulate her.
