NB to Sustain Pace Set by Promo

The Managing Director of Nigeria Breweries, Eze Festus Odimegwu, has restated the commitment of the company through their Gulder brand towards the development of the lives of people who live in the environment where they operate and who consume their products.
Odimegwu who spoke during the ceremoney to round off the 21days, Gulder Ultimate Search Promotion said that every year they will put up one programme or another of similar magnitude with the just concluded Gulder Ultimate Search with the aim of making the lives of Nigerians better.
He hailed the participants and winners of the just concluded promotion for the strenght and courage they displayed during the promotion stating that they deserved the attention and honour that the programme has brought them.
According to him for these 21 days, people followed activities on national TV the activities at the ultimate search adventure: "We felt their pains and agonies as they went through their tasks. We sympathised with them, we cheered them up even though they could not hear us but they were encouraged by our numerous text messages of good will. They never gave up. They exhibited strength of character and exemplary courage. They showed truly the survival instinct of man and man's superiority over nature. Now the Search is over. They have conquered, they have shown that one's limited is self-imposed. These ultimate heroes of our time are here with us today. he said"
Odimegwu also stated that Nigerian Breweries through its well-sought-after brands has always striven to delight consumers, this the company does through the delivery of world class qualify and numerous social responsibility ventures of which the ultimate search is an example.
He further stated that the ultimate search was brought to Nigerians by Nigeria's number one nation premium beer- Gulder..... the ultimate. He stressed that Gulder is a brand that is the epitome at Drive, Strength, Youth, Ambition and Success; "Gulder is the beer for the man or woman that exhibits the mental and physical capacity to go the extra mile to achieve success. All these value were clearly demonstrated by the brave men and women that took part in the ultimate search."
"Part of the objective we setr out at the beginning was to demonstrate that given the opportunity, our youths have the discipline and dedication to excel. In spite of the deprivations that they have had to go through, their conduct during the period was exemplary." "We also set out to provide a new dimention in TV entertainment in Nigeria. Industry practitioners can only appreciate the contribution of the ultimate search to the development of TV production in Nigeria. Also, we have through the programme given boost to tourism as the snake Island location has now been given worldwide visibility,he said."
Odimegwu with the help of other top management staff of Nigeria breweries decorated the 10 Islanders with a heroes' medal made of Gold depicting the centurious's helmet-a sign of strength, valour and success. Also, the sum of N250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand naira) each went to 6 of the contestants, N400,000 (four hundred thousand naira) each also went to the next 3 contentants and the last man standing - Ezugo Egwagu was given the sum of N3 million (three million naira) for his courage, Endurance, intellect and success.
Ezugo was finally asked to unveil the content in the ultimate treasure book which was said to be a priceless treasure, hence what was found in it was a bottle of the "new brand Gulder" which the managing director/chief excecutive promised to be out in the market, with effect from the 19th of June.
Speaking with the Ultimate man, Ezugo Egwagu, he thanked Nigerian Brewery for given him the opportunity to prove himself as the 'best of the best" and assured them that they never cheated themselve working with him as the best.
Sylvesta Agbator, one of the contestants who could not make it to the snake Island, thanked Nigerian brewery for given him the opportunity to try his best and agrees to the judgement as free and fair, stating that he was greatly honoured and previleged to be ever identified with the best brewery in the world and been identified with the world greatest and best TV programme the "Ultimate Search."
