City Express, US EXIM Bank in $7m Deal Finance City Express Bank Plc and the United States Export and Import Bank (US EXIM Bank) have concluded a $7 million short term facility deal for MTS, a communications firm . City Express Bank secured the facility which was provided by Sofitel through the US EXIM Bank for MTS, a statement from the bank revealed. At the signing ceremony held last week in Lagos, the Director, US EXIM Bank, Mr. Joseph Grandmaison expressed his delight at the completion of the agreement. With the facility, the statement from the bank explained that MTS is expected to expand its network under a business plan that will see the telecommunication company roll out its fixed wireless lines throughout the country. Grandmaison commended the Managing Director of the bank, Mrs. Sola Adeoti for her high level of professionalism and tenacity of purpose, which he said spurred the US EXIM Bank's interest in the transaction. In response, Adeoti thanked US EXIM Bank for deep commitment and belief in the values of the bank, adding that the event has become a landmark development in the history of the bank.
