Cleric's Body Arrives from Vatican City for Burial From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja The Catholic Diocese Bishop of Lokoja, Most Reverend Joseph Ajomo who died last Monday would be flown from Vatican City in Rome to Nigeria on Monday for burial. A source in Lokoja yesterday told THISDAY that the Catholic Bishop would be buried Friday, next week, after a wake-keeping in his honour at the Catholic Diocese Headquarters in Lokoja. Ajomo died after a protracted illness in a hospital in Vatican City. The late Bishop Ajomo was flown to the Vatican City, headquarters of the Catholic Mission for medical treatment about two weeks ago before his death last Monday. Ajomo was said to be the only son of his parents and was ordained as priest in Rome in 1969, and subsequently became the Bishop of Lokoja Diocese in 1992.
