Kogi Spends N350m on Water Projects From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja Kogi State government has spent over N350 million on water projects in the last few months. The state Water Resources Commissioner, Honourable Soji Olumorin said this in Lokoja in a chat with newsmen. Olumorin said that the Idah Water Works, Okene Water Works and Kotonkarfe Water Works have all been rehabilitated by government. On water tanks that collapsed in some places, the commissioner blamed the collapse on the contractors who used inferior materials. He, however, pledged that more efforts would be geared towards making life more meaningful for the people of the state.
