FG Pledges Relief Materials to Disaster Victims From Yinka Kolawole in Lokoja The Federal Government has pledged to provide relief materials to disaster victims across the country to alleviate their sufferings. Director-General of the National Emergency Mana-gement Agency, Alhaji Salisu Markafi, said this in Lokoja during a visit to Governor Ibrahim Idris. Represented by Dr Bamidele Onimode, Makarfi said materials provided for the state was based on the recommendations of the state government. Responding, Governor Ibrahim Idris commended the Federal Government for its assistance and promised to ensure fairness in its distribution.
