The management of Communication Trend Limited (CTL) weekend dedicated to God its new multi-millions naira corporate headquarters with a renewed promise to ensure quality service is rendered to customers throughout the cities in the country and beyond.
The dedication of the CTL Emporium located at Plot 57 Woji Road, Port Harcourt was jointly handled by the Bishop of Niger Delta, Rt. Rev. G. H. Pepple and the Resident Minister, Christ Church Interdenominational, Port Harcourt, Very Rev. S. O. Eze.
The chairman/CEO of the communication outfit, Engr. Uzo Udemba said at the occasion that the vision of the company is to be the best in the communication industry through provision of excellent customer and culturally friendly services.
Engr. Udemba pointed out that CTL which had acquire the status of a household name was founded about a decade ago with the greatest challenge of reshaping Nigeria�s communications and entertainment landscape.
Presenting briefs on the media firm, the manager, Media Relations, Mr. Eddie Williams said CTL has came to be recognized as a leader in the industry, explaining that in July 1999, CTL became the first African company to successfully launch a Broadband High-Speed Wireless Internet Service in three major cities in Nigeria including Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja.
"It is interesting to note that this humble, but unique accomplishment resulted in the company�s admission into the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), �customer wall of fame� �, he stated. Adding, "Our supernet300, which services corporations, government institutions, private homes and several cyber caf_ operators through its broadband internet service, is already taking the number one slot going by the survey of ISPs in September 2001."
CTL which currently operates in 12 cities of the country, according to Mr. Williams seeks to become the market leading provider of Direct-to-Home (DTH) services with an affordable mix of high quality worldwide and locally originated content services that meet the entertainment,, public service and information programming needs of the under-served West African market.
To fulfill its mission, the company announced the introduction of the newest product called TRENDTV with unique features including the pay-as-you-go billing system and channels that are in tune with the Nigerian value system
