Bank Donates Computers to Varsity Gombe From Saka Ibrahim in Gombe FSB International Bank Plc has donated sets of computers worth over N1 million to the smooth take off of the Gombe State University. The bank presented relief materials worth N500,000 to the recent Gombe flood victims. The bank North Regional Manager, Alhaji Mustapha Zakari, who made the presentation on behalf of his bank, said the bank's Board of Directors have decided to assist government in the take off of the state university and the flood victims by donating the items. The materials comprises matresses, textile materials, bundles of plastic mats and household utensils. According to Zakari, "FSB International Bank as its corporate responsibilities has decided to donate these sets of computers to the state government to aid in the smooth take-off of the Gombe State University. And at the same time, the bank is presenting these materials to assist the recent Gombe flood victims." The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bala Maagaji, thanked the bank for the gesture and promised that the sets of computers would be made available to the university while the relief materials would be distributed to the flood victims. The government scribe applauded the bank for not only remembering victims of the flood disaster "by bringing relief materials but also donating computers to the university project that is very dear in the heart of the present government." FSB International Bank Plc is the first bank or organisation to donate to the take off of the state university since the idea was conceived a year ago.
