NFA Technical Director Kashimawo Laloko has been slammed for the way he arrogates duties to himself to scurry favour. Caf’s award-winning coach Kadiri Ikhana told KickOffNig-eria.com that Laloko’s habit of interfering in the duties of national team coaches was just “eye-service” meant to deceive those who do not know any better.
“Laloko is a shameless father,” Ikhana said. “Someone like Siasia for instance, should be his son. And if your son does something wrong, you do not chide him in public. But Laloko wants people to see that he is doing the job.
“If he wants to give advice, he should do so during preparations and not handing notes to Siasia or Izilein during a match so that people will see him.”
Ikhana also questioned Laloko’s competence, “What has Laloko achieved as a coach to be offering advice to others? When you speak the truth, they won’t listen they will say you talk too much. Let Laloko tell us what he has achieved as a coach,” Ikhana said. And Ikhana blames the structures for Laloko’s excesses. “It is because he does not have a clearly defined role, because things are not being done properly. Anyway, he knows those he can do that to.
