FRIDAY , NOVEMBER 5, 2004   RAMADAN 23, 1425 A.H.           Obasanjo hails Bush�s re-election From KABIRU YUSUF, Abuja PRESIDENT Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday sent a congratulatory message to his American counterpart, George W. Bush, over his re-election for second term as American president. In a letter sent to the reelected president dully signed by the African Union (AU) chairman, Chief Obasanjo described Bush�s re-election as a confirmation of the confidence and trust American people have in his leadership. According to him, Bush�s re-election is also a testimony of the belief of the Americans that, he (Bush) is the leader that can really see the United States through its present global challenges. As for African continent, he said, George Bush will provide another opportunity for African countries to continue to unite in areas of mutual benefits to both United States of America and the continent.
