FRIDAY , NOVEMBER 5, 2004   RAMADAN 23, 1425 A.H.           Triumph, vendors renew rapport By BASHEER MUSTPHA SANI THE managing director, Triumph Publishing Company, Malam Mahmoud Adnan Audi has welcomed the tireless effort made by Kano state Vendors and Distributors Association" over the patronage accorded to Triumph Newspapers. Malam Adnan who stated this during a curtsey call on him by the executive members of the association in his office, described relations between the company and the association as an integral part of both. He also commended members of the association over their effort in assisting the company through promotion of its newspapers, urging them to maintain it. "It is in view of this that the company decided to take up the issue of sickness of its former chairman to the state government, which has subsequently forwarded to the ministry of health for further action", he said. The managing director assured of the company's continued support and cooperation towards the attainment of the set objectives. Earlier in his speech, the chairman of the association, Malam Yakubu Salisu had said, that there visit was aimed at strengthening working relationship between the company and the association. The chairman expressed their appreciation with the quality of Triumph newspapers noting that the Triumph newspapers are now competing with other national dailies. The chairman, thanked the managing director for his sympathy and concern over the ailing condition of their former chairman.
