FRIDAY , NOVEMBER 5, 2004   RAMADAN 23, 1425 A.H.           Another AD Rep defects to PDP Another AD member of the House of Representatives, Rep Femi Davies (AD-Lagos) has defected to the PDP bringing to three the number of lawmakers that left the party in the last one month. In a letter to the Speaker Aminu Masari, which was read on the floor of the House on Tuesday, Davies cited the factionalisation of the party as his reason for withdrawing his membership. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that barely a month ago, two AD members also from Lagos , Rep Animashaun Oladokun and Oluwale Olufemi defected to PDP citing similar reason advanced by Davies. In the letter, Davies lamented the factionalisation and the leadership crises that rocked the party and accused Gov. Bola Tinubu of of Lagos hijacking the party machinery, saying �the party which has become a one man show, is now a shadow of its self�. Also on Tuesday, a new member, Mike Ohia was sworn in by Masari. Ohia replaced late Morris Ibekwe (PDP-Imo),who died in detention while undergoing advanced fee fraud trial prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
