Cleric tasks Muslims on Islamic values By Salauddeen Ozigi The National President of the Nasrul-Lahi-il-Fathi (NASFAT), Islamic society of Nigeria, Ustaz AbdulWahab, has urged Muslim faithfuls to adhere strictly to the teaching of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah of prophet Muhammad (SAW). He also enjoined them to promote Islamic brotherhood, peruse knowledge at all times, ensure equality, love, care, patience and tolerance. Ustaz AbdulWahab made this plea at a night vigil mark this year’s “Lailatul-Qadr” (Night of Majesty), in Abuja on Friday. Speaking to the crowd of Muslim faithfuls from across the country, Ustaz AbdulWahab observed that Nigeria is now at a crossroads with numerous problems including political, social and economic ones defying solutions. He however lamented that the followership is the main cause of these problems, adding that strategic planning and sincerity of purpose was required from all to be able to move forward as nation.
