MONDAY , NOVEMBER 8, 2004   RAMADAN 26, 1425 A.H.           Dawanau market chairman sends Sallah greetings THE chairman of Dawanau market development association, in Dawakin Tofa local government area of Kano state, Alhaji Muhammad Kawo, has extended a Sallah goodwill message to Kano state governor, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, and entire Muslims within and beyond the state. In a chat with Daily Triumph on marking the end of Ramadan fasting in his office, the chairman expressed hope that the Almighty SWT would accept the ibadat and reward all adequately. He therefore, used the opportunity to remind the governor Malam Shekarau, of the promise he made through his deputy, engineer Magaji Abdullahi to connect the market with internet since September 13, 2004. According to him the installation of the internet would assist greatly in boosting commercial activities in the market, which is rated as to international standard. He then commended the effort of the present administration on transforming the state more specially in human development programmes.
