BENIN — THE State Security Service (SSS), weekend, interrogated, in Benin, leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Asari Dokubo, for allegedly inciting students against the Federal Government. Alhaji Dokubo was in the Edo State capital to attend the Ijaw Day segment of the University of Benin National and Cultural Day celebration when the SSS invited him for interrogation mements before the students’ ceremony.
However, National President of the Ijaw National Congress (INC), Dr. Kimse Okoko, has declared that Ijaw leaders will not review their ban on further discussion between Dokubo and President Olusegun Obasanjo until the president, according to him, shows signs of seriousness in resolving the Niger Delta crisis.
