Ige: AD dismisses attorney-general�s apology OSUN State chapter of the Alliance for democracy (AD) has said the apology offered by the Oyo State Attorney General over the shoddy manner in which the murder case of the late Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, Chief Bola Ige, was unnecessary. In a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the state capital the party, said the trading of blames by both the police and the Oyo Attorney General showed official complicity. The AD dismissed the possibility of fresh trial as suggested by the Oyo Attorney General, maintaining that Ige�s death was one of the organised killings in the country, unraveled by the government. "In all organised killings in Nigeria, we have discovered nothing comes out of them in terms of investigations - as the powers that be are always out to pervert the course of justice in their bid to cover their tracks. "Prof Wole Soyinka had ensued during the burial of Chief Bola Ige that his killers are in our midst, we say they should be haunted by their conscience. Whether the Oyo AG sheds crocodile tears or not with his apology or the police claim they did a thorough investigations of the crime, Nigerians have lost confidence in the judicial system and we have taken solace in asking God to take charge", the AD statement said.
