MASSOB congratulates George Bush on his election By Uche Nwosu Special Correspondent, Umuahia Movement for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has congratulated President George W Bush of America for his re-election for another four years in office. In a statement in Umuahia at the weekend, MASSOB said Bush�s victory is a continuous fight and victory over terrorism, injustice, dehumanisation, slavery and religious intolerance that ravage the world today. �MASSOB believes that you as the leader of the number one nation in the world and also the champion of democracy, human rights and freedom you would continue with your policy of promoting true freedom and sound democratic principles in the world and Biafra actualisation in particular�, MASSOB said in the statement signed by the Director of Information, Mr. Uchenna Madu. The statement noted the United States and MASSOB have similar objectives in their war against terror, injustice, religious discrimination and slavery, stressing that because of the belief in justice, MASSOB adopted a non-violent posture to gain independence from Nigeria. �As we celebrate with you, MASSOB wishes to use this opportunity to appeal to you to use your good office to prevail on the United Nations and other freedom loving nations of the world to intervene in the dehumanisation, marginalisation and religious discrimination that has been going on in Nigeria for more than 37 years now�, they added.
