MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004           Rangers crash out Enugu Rangers on Saturday failed to reach the final of the Confederation Cup, as they could only manage a goalless draw with Petro Atletico in Luanda, in a decisive Group A match. Ghana's Asante Kotoko, will now feature in the inaugural Confederation Cup final after they defeated Al-Hilal of Sudan 2-0 to finish on the same 10 points as Rangers, but advance by virtue of the fact that they enjoyed a better result against the Nigerians over two legs. Kotoko defeated Rangers 3-1 in Kumasi in their first clash while the 'Flying Antelopes' could only manage a 2-1 victory in Enugu in the return leg. The second finalists will be decided Sunday when second-placed Hearts of Oak of Ghana host Group B leaders Cotonsport of Cameroon.
