MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004           Live in peace, Dambatta people urged PEOPLE OF Dambatta local government area in Kano state, have been advised to live peacefully with one another so as to move the area forward. The chairman of the council, Alhaji Musa alas an Dambatta, gave the advise while distributing motorcycles to village heads, and some political leaders of the area. Alhaji Dambatta, disclosed that the council donated the motorcycles in recognition of their contributions towards the development of the area, adding that the motorcycles would assist them greatly in discharging their duties. The chairman, then commended the beneficiaries for their from service, zeal and dedication, and assured them of his council�s support and cooperation at all the times. He advised them to cooperate with the state government and the council and to enhance implementation of Sharia and enrolment of pupils into primary schools. On his part, the director personnel management of the council, Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Kura, described the package as first of its kind, where the council donated 28 motorcycles to the village heads of the area, two to house of the district head, while another 20 to the leaders of ANPP. He therefore, expressed his appreciation to the entire people of the area for their support and cooperation during the last phase of the National immunization programme on Polio, hoping that the tempo would be sustained.
