MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004           Ohaneze warns against emergency rule in Anambra The president of Anambra state branch of Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Dozie Ikedife has , warned against using the prevailing crisis in the state, as an excuse to put the state under emergency rule. Addressing the press in Enugu, Ikedife warned that people will not take it kindly.� Stating that from what has happened so far, it will appear that this is directed towards the declaration of state of emergency, he pointed out that �it is all playing up as an event previously conceived perhaps to be achieved without success and this is another approach to the same objective.� Ikedife, furious of the whole act, saw the terrorism launched on the state as a declaration it was, �well planned and executed meticulously which has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that they don�t like the peace that has existed in the state.� He regretted that Anambra indigenes were found useful tools in the exercise.
