MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004           Plateau poly expels 100 students for exam malpractices THE Plateau state Polytechnic, Barikin Ladi, has expelled about 100 students for exam malpractices and other academic offences. Disclosing this to Daily Triumph in Jos, the Rector of the Institution, Engineer Dr) Stephen J. Mallo, at the Panguruf meeting of the newly constituted governing council held at the institution last week. According to him efforts have been intensified to ensure giving qualitative education to the citizens of the state, by the institution and assured that, they would leave no stone unturned in ensuring the sanity of the school. He said the institution had a staff strength of 662, and 10,000 students enrolment in various courses in the school. Dr. Mallo stated further that, the institution also had a team of nine management members with a representative from the ministry of education. According to him the institution has celebrated its 25th jubilee during which six graduates would convocate.
