MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 2004           Tornadoes gear up for new season Premier League side Niger Tornadoes, are to start preparations for the new season today, but NFA top boss Sulaiman David, will not be re-appointed club boss, www.kickoffnigeria.com has gathered. Chief coach Abdul-Rauf Yusuf, told Kickoff in Minna that preparations for the new season would commence as soon as the players report to camp. He said the shifting of the league date to January best suits his team because it would provide them enough time to replace the players leaving and give the new ones the chance to settle down. Meanwhile, as soccer fans await the announcement of the new management by the state government, Kickoff scooped several top names have been recommended to lead Tornadoes in the coming season. The new chairman is expected to be Dantsoho Ndatukura (a.k.a Ten-Ten), a politician and the present chairman of the state football association. The former club PRO, Yusuf Dauda, is expected to return as the vice chairman while Usman Garba would also return as team manager.
