TUESDAY, NOVEMBER, 23, 2004           US, Britain plan attack on North-- Sheikh Fari From FAROUK ADAMU YAKASAI, Gusau AN Islamic cleric in Gusau, Zamfara state, Sheikh Abdullahi Fari has raised an alarm over a purported plans by United States and Britain to attack Muslims of Northern Nigeria among others. The cleric who is the Chief Imam of Sheikh Abubakar Gumi Mosque, Gusau, during a sermon alleged that the United States of America and Britain have concluded plans to wage an offensive war against the Muslim world. �The targets of the attack include Northern Nigeria, Saudi-Arabia, Tanzania and the home town of the renowned international scholar based in South Africa, Sheikh Ahmad Deedat�. The Chief Imam recalled that recently, the British Prime Minister, Mr. Tony Blair had announced that owing to the re-election of Mr. Bush, the war against terror would continue unabated, a term the scholar opined referred to war against Islam. He therefore, urged the Muslim world to unite and defend themselves from Islamaphobia and persecution by America and its allies. Sheikh Fari, also told Mr. Bush that his anti-Islamic plans would hit brick wall as Allah (SWT) is the ultimate defender of Islam.
