The Bauchi State House Of Assemble has called for the active participation of the people of the state in the forth coming National Head Count towards ensuring even and rapid Socio Economic and infrastructural development of the state in particular and the country in general. The Deputy Speaker of the State House Of Assemble Hon. Gambo Sule Pali who made the call yesterday while speaking with parliamentary correspondents at the assemble complex said that the call became necessary because of the role of population census to nation building . The Deputy Speaker who represents Pali constituency in the state House Of Assembly also charged the people of the state to give the exercise all the necessary support and cooperation it deserved " as it will serve as a yard stick in the statistical distribution of national wealth social amenities an infrastructure." He reminded the people that the government programs and policies were being formulated and executed based on the authentic figure of the National Head Count of any state, explaining that since the present administr4aion was determined to the provision of people oriented programs and projects, "active participation of the people in the exercise will help in no small measure in making Government efforts worth while." Commenting on the just concluded Ramadan fast, the lawmaker congratulated the Muslim community for successfully concluding the Ramadan, and prayed Allah to reward them accordingly. The deputy speaker also used the forum to condole the family of late Ajia Bauchi, Alhaji Adamu Tafawa Balewa and prayed God to Grant his soul eternal rest and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
