Yes No Indifferent View results Account for FG Allocation, Tinubu Told By Sheriff Balogun, 11.29.2004 Lagos Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has called on Governor Bola Tinubu of  Lagos State to give account of the Federal Government allocation for the state. The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, PDP Shadow Cabinent, Lagos State, Mr Muyiwa Collins, made this known in a statement signed and made available to THISDAY noting that" the "Lagos PDP is now calling on Tinubu to explain to Lagosians how he spent the money he collected from the Federal Government. He added that, the Lagos PDP is drawing the attention of Lagosians and the public  to the insensitivity  of the Tinubu's administration that, the administration has nothing to show for the huge amount collected from the Federal Government. What we get in the state was bad roads, lack of poor drainage, poor sanitation, drugs in our hospitals, non payment of workers salaries among others. " The Federal  Government recently disbursed N300m to each state to alleviate the suffering of the people. The money has been effectively utilised for various welfare programmes by the governments of Ogun, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti and Oyo to provide mass transit buses to alleviate the transportation problems and procurement of drugs for hospitals, road rehabilitation, construction  and rehabilitation of classrooms in their respective states, he added.
