According to the chairman, the present economic reforms of the Obasanjo regime "is cosmetic." Also, the president of the Campaign for Democracy (CD) in a release reviewed Obasanjo's government policy on deregulation and declared that "it has thrown heavy burden and pains on the citizenry."
