FG Urged to Boost Customs' Morale Katsina From Jare Ilelaboye in Katsina There is a need for Federal Government to boost the morale of officials of Nigeria Customs Service (NSC) across the nation's border posts. Receiving members of House of Representatives Sub-Committee on Customs at the Government House in Katsina, the state Governor, Alhaji Musa Yar'Adua, said Federal Government should relax the stiff conditions at the nation's borders to allow the establishment of markets for legitimate businesses and allow trading to prosper. The governor observed that this would help the Custom command for its role in stamping out smuggling and other crimes within the border posts. He added that the visit of the committee would give them the opportunity to assess and analyse issues on the ground to chart a new course on the ways to move forward. The House Chairman, Dr. Nmajir Geidam, said the committee was on facility tour to customs formation in the state to get the first hand information on the activities of the command in the state.
