Friday, October 1st 2004 HOME | back to previous page El-Rufai wins 2004 exam ethics best governor award By Fabian Ozor Senior Correspondent, Lagos   The Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mallam Nasir el-Rufai has won the 2004 Exam Ethics best governor award on account of FCT emerging first in the 2003 Exam Ethics Ratings (EER). FCT came first with an Exams Ethics Index (EEI) of 99.91points. The 2004 Exam Ethics best governors award for the various geo-political zones went to the following governors: Chief James Ibori of Delta State emerged best governor for the South-South zone with a total score of EEI = 98.11points; Dr. Chris Ngige emerged the best governor in the South-East zone with a score of EEI = 98.28 points while El-Rufai won the North Central award with EEI = 99.91points. Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa of Sokoto State won the North-West, best governor award with EEI = 95.94 points while the Adamawa State Governor, Dr. Bonnie Haruna won the North-East EEI best governor award with a total of EEI = 99.18 points. Exams Ethics Awards are based on the performance of the various states in checking examination malpractices termed Exam Malpractice Ratings (EMR) and Exam Ethics Ratings (EER) as generated from statistics released by public examination bodies. The governor of the state with highest EEI in the country wins the national award while the governors of states with the highest EEI in the zones win the zonal best governors awards.           Copyright� 2004.
