Vanguard reliably gathered that the recent redeployment of the state Commissioner of Finance, Mr. Samuel Kayode may not be unconnected with the low performance of his ministry and decline in the internally generated revenue drive in the State. Subsequently, Chief Toyin Ojo a commissioner in the state has been asked to take over from Mr. Kayode. Besides,  the Governor Monday ordered the immediate redeployment of the Chairman of the Board of Internal Revenue, Mr. Charles Ajiboye, while a director of expenditure in the State Ministry of Finance, Mr. Kunle Abegunde is now to head the state board of internal revenue. Speaking while meeting representatives of banks operating in the state and some staff of the ministry of finance on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti, Mr. Fayose said his administration has poised to sanitize the state’s Civil Service.
