College Restates Commitment to Curb Cultism From Hammed Shitu in Osogbo Chairman Governing Cou-ncil, Osun State Col-lege of Technology (OS-COTECH), Esa-Oke, Mr Funsho Isola, yesterday said the institution's management would not relent in its efforts at curbing the menace of cultism. Isola disclosed this at Esa-Oke, during a chat with newsmen on one year anniversary of the Council. According to him, the College was known for peace and academic excellence, and this would be pursued to create good image for the institution. He said parents and guardians should inculcate good ideas and opinions on their children, to enable them behave very well while in higher institutions. Isola added that the College has formed a parents-teachers forum where they discuss policies that can promote good rapport and could boost the academic morale of students. He stressed that the parent-teachers forum has saved the institution from acts that may affect the peace and progress of the College, adding that a sum of N35 million has been earmarked for research development in the institution.
