Leadership Crisis Rocks IBB Group in Jigawa From Bala Nasir in Dutse The lingering leadership crisis rocking the "IBB 2007 project" in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital may have stalled its official launch in the state. The launching, which was billed to take place last weekend at 3-Star Hotel, Dutse with supporters drawn from the 27 local government area of the state, however could not hold when the leaders of the group could not come to terms on certain issues. However, while the supporters were in Dutse, the leaders of the group were in far away Kano ostensibly to brainstrom over the leadership crisis. One of them, Alhaji Danladi Auyo was said to have insisted to be the chairman of the group in the state. While this was on, others were said to have kicked against Auyo's choice, saying that he was not in the political landscape of the state, and as such he could not have been the chosen person to lead the group. Supporters, who remained stranded at the hotel later got to understand the reason why their leaders could not turn up for the occassion. One of them, Awwalu Sani urged the warrying leaders not to allow selfish interests to over shadow the laudable ideals for which the group was known for. He said it was easier for other camps to hijack their members to their told if they could not settle a simple dispute between themselves. Meanwhile, Auyo has said in an interview after the occassion that he has been duly elected as chairman of the group in Jigawa State. He also said, the occassion was peaceful and rancours free, while urging his supporters to foster the interest of the group.
