Pepsi Academy Coach Excels In Germany A Coach of the Pepsi Football Academy, Samson Unuanel, who was sponsored by the German Embassy for a month-long Coaching Course in Germany, has returned home with flying colours. Coach Unuanel, who underwent intensive drills at the elite German Football Federation Institute, bagged a Grade A Coaching license, at the end of the programme. The license, by German Football Standards permits him to act as a coach for any top-rated club side in the world. According to Alain Dutrueil, a Francophone sports administrator, who monitored the progress of the PFA coach, during the training course: "Samson performed creditably to the surprise and admiration of his course instructors." The Pepsi Academy coach, he said, maintained a high level of intelligence, discipline and speed in his acquisition of modern skills, thus earning him the top-level grading awarded to him, at the end of the course. Speaking shortly after his return to Nigeria, Samson said that he was yet to recover from the vigorous training schedule of the German Football Federation.
