WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 13 , 2004           Bayero commends Imam Mansur PTA, others By HASSAN MUHD. THE emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero had commended Parent Teachers Association (PTA) of Imam Mansur Quranic School Tudun Wazirci and all those who contributed towards uplifting Islamic religion. The emir made the commendation during the Quranic graduation ceremony of the students of the school at the weekend in Kano. The emir stated that efforts towards the promotion of Islam should be intensified for the betterment of the society. On the achievements recorded in the school the emir noted that, the first term about 68 students graduated, second term, 62 and the third term 55 adding that this is a great achievement which is to be proud not even by the people of the state alone but the whole Muslims ummah. Also speaking, the chairman of the school, Imam Mansur said the school was established in 1987 with one student, learning in his own house but as at present, the school graduated many students, among whom some have been to various institutions o higher learning such as Aminu Kano College of Islamic Legal Studies among others. Imam Mansur also expressed joy and happiness to Almighty for witnessing the occasion.
